The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) is a level 1, a General Central Service Group “C” Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various central governmnet departments across the country. The posts of Senior Gestetner Operator, Daftry, Library Attendant, Messenger-cum-Daftry, Jamadar (Sr. Peon), Peon, Examination Work Attendant, Chowkidar, Farash and Safai Karamchari all have been redesignated as Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) for the last few years. Any Matriculates below 27 years can apply for these posts through the SSC MTS recruitment notifications available in the SSC official website. Here we are having a detailed look on how to apply online for SSC MTS 2022.

A total number of more than 3603 vacancies are expected this year. The SSC will announce the vacancy details soon in the official website. Before checking the steps to SSC MTS application procedure, lets have a quick look at the essential eligibility criteria for the MTS posts. They are:

SSC MTS Application Process

So if you have the above-said qualifications, then you can follow the below given instructions to start your SSC MTS 2022 application.

To start your SSC MTS  application, candidates must register themselves in the One Time Registration. For One-time Registration, click on the Register Now link provided in Login Section on the SSC official website: Click Here. You must have a valid email id, mobile number, and digital copy of your photograph, and signature to complete the process. On One Time Registration, enter your basic details, including matriculation or SSLC registration number and should upload the recent photograph and signature. Once you enter your basic details and click on the save icon. Your Registration Number and Password will be sent to you, on your mobile number and Email ID. Save those details for future uses. You can now login using your Registration Number as username and the password provided to you. Change your password, if you wish. After the registration process, the “Basic Details” can be changed only twice.

Both the Photograph and Signature should be in JPEG format. The size of the photograph should be in between 20 KB to 50 KB, with dimensions Image dimension of  about 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height). The image dimensions of the  signature in JPEG format (10 to 20 KB) should be about 4.0 cm (width) x 3.0 cm (height).

Steps to fill the SSC MTS Application 2022

  • Log in to the SSC Official website through your Registration Number and password: Click Here
  • Under the “Apply” tab click on the “Others” tab. Under “Others”, click on the “Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination”.
  • Your basic details will get automatically update on the application form, you need to select whether you are in the EWS section or not. This option is applicable for only un-reserved candidates.
  • Select your desired choices of examinations. The candidate may give the option for three exam centres, in the order of priority, within the same region.
  • Indicate your preferences of posts for the States/ UTs in the order of priority.
  • Fill your highest education qualification acquired as on the date of notification.
  • Indicate your Ex-Servicemen and departmental candidates’ eligibility if applicable.
  • Check the declaration and click on the “I agree” checkbox and fill up the Captcha code.
  • Preview and verify the information and submit the Application.
  • Unreserved male candidates have to pay Rs.100/ as application fees.
  • Once you complete the application process, you will receive the confirmation message on your registered email, and mobile.
  • If you wish you can download the application in pdf format for future use.

The application fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or through cash in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
