SSC/ Staff Selection Commission is a government organization for recruiting staff on various posts coming under various ministries and government offices. It conducts various examinations for selecting suitable candidates for respective positions. MTS /multi-tasking staff is the one among the exams that is mainly for 10th pass candidates. Those with higher qualification can also apply for the exam. . The SSC MTS includes many posts under group C cadre which includes peon, Mali, operator, junior Gestetner, Chowkidar, Farash, Daftary, Safaiwala etc. This was created as per the 6th CPC recommendation to by including group D cadre. SSC MTS Exam Date 2019
Staff Selection Commission has started recruitment activities of MTS 2019 exam for filling various grade C level posts. Online application started on 22nd April 2019. Staff Selection Commission multi-tasking staff tier 1 exam had been conducted from 2nd August 2019 to 22nd August 2019. The next stage is tier-2 exam, which is scheduled to conduct on 17th November 2019. SSC MTS exam date 2019 is tabulated below

Tier 2/Paper II is a descriptive paper. Those clearing the tier 1 exam can write the second stage. Tier 1 exam is now over and the result will be soon published on the website. As per official website, about 38.58 lakhs candidates registered for the exam. Out of these, around 49.7% candidates only attended the exam. SSC conducted the exam at 337 centers spread across India. Tier 1 was online mode conducted in 39 shifts. Tier 1 is a multiple choice/objective type paper. Candidates who clear the two tiers will be called for interview and document verification.
SSC MTS Vacancy 2019
SSC do not yet announced the vacancy. Vacancy details will be soon notified on their official website. It can be checked through this link. There are reservations for minority candidates such Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Ex-servicemen (ESM)/ Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) etc. according to Govt. norms. Commission selects candidates in accordance with the reported vacancies for the respective category. The commission has no role in the vacancy decision. Concerned departments decide their number of vacancy and implementation of reservation policy for their different categories.
MTS Tier I and Tier II Exam Pattern
MTS exam is a two stage exam: Tier 1 and Tier 2. Tier-1 is an objective level exam and tier-2 is a descriptive paper. The pattern of both stages is given below:
