Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) is a level 1, General Central Service Group “C” Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India, in different States/ and Union Territories. The posts of Sr. Gestetner Operator, Daftry, Library Attendant, Messenger-cum-Daftry, Jamadar (Senior Peon), Peon, Examination Work Attendant, Chowkidar, Farash and Safai Karamchari have been redesignated as Multi Tasking Staff. The Pay-scale of Multi Tasking Staff follows Pay Band-1 (Rs 5200-20200) + Grade Pay Rs 1800. So the newly selected MTS officer can have a starting salary of Rs. 20245 even from the first month of service.

SSC MTS Tier 1 Result 2022
SSC will release the result of MTS Tier 1 exam in the second week of September, 2022 on its official website – ssc.nic.in. The result will consist of the list of roll numbers of candidates who have qualified. Candidates can download the MTS Tier 1 from the website by logging in using their registration number and password. Those who have qualified in SSC MTS Tier 1 exam will be eligible to appear for SSC MTS Tier 2 exam which is a descriptive test.
The cut off marks will also be released along with the results. SSC MTS Tier 1 exam marks of all the candidates who attempted the exam will be released a few days after the announcement of results.
