Read this article about SSC MTS Vacancy 2019. Staff Selection Commission (https://ssc.nic.in) has invited online applications for Multi Tasking (Non-Technical )Staff(SSC MTS Exam-2019). The notification was out on 22nd April 2019. This comes under a General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Ministries/Departments/ Offices of the Government of India, in different States/Union Territories with a Pay Band-1 (Rs 5200-20200) + Grade Pay Rs 1800, (Revised Pay Scale after 7th CPC: Pay Level in Pay Matrix – Level-1).
SSC MTS 2019 Important Dates
- Dates for submission of Online Applications: 22.04.2019 to 29.05.2019
- Last date for receipt of application: 29.05.2019 (up to 5.00 PM)
- Last date for making online fee payment: 31.05.2019 (up to 5.00 PM)
- Last date for generation of offline Challan: 31.05.2019 (up to 5.00 PM)
SSC MTS 2019 Exam Dates
- Date of Computer Based Examination (Tier-I): 02.08.2019 to 06.09.2019
- Date of Tier-II Examination (Descriptive Paper): 17.11.2019
Age Limit – 18 yrs to 27 yrs (as on 01-08-2019). Age relaxation will be provided to the upper age limit as per the norms of the government.
Educational Qualifications (As on 01-08-2019): The candidates must have passed Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Application fee: Rs. 100/-. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes
(SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of the fee.
SSC MTS Vacancy 2019
Till now, Staff Selection Commission, haven’t uploaded the SSC MTS vacancy list. It will be determined in the due course. It can be availed from https://ssc.nic.in->Candidate’s Corner-> Tentative Vacancy. In 2017, there were about 8300 SSC mts vacancies, altogether. And there was a rise beyond 10000. So this year also we expect 10000+ vacancies. State-wise SSC MTS vacancy list will also be updated soon.
SSC MTS Syllabus 2019
Of the two papers, Paper I is Computer-based examination with objective questions.

Paper-II is Descriptive examination, consisting of Short Essay/Letter in English or in any language included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution. Duration of examination is 30 minutes with maximum marks of 50.
All registered candidates, whose applications are in order, will get provisionally accepted and can download the hall ticket for appearing Paper I. After the result being published, those who cleared the cut-off and above, will be admitted for Paper II. Paper II is only a qualifying examination to test aspirants’ language skill. So the cumulative result will make the shortlist for Document verification. The eligible candidates’ whose documents are found in order will be considered for final selection.
