Security Officers:
Presently, the starting basic pay applicable is as under:

The dearness allowance, HRA and other allowances will be payable at applicable rates.
Fire Officer:
The fixed emoluments of Rs 70000/- (Rupees Seventy Thousand Only) per month will be paid subject to deduction of taxes as applicable. Conveyance allowance: (Reimbursement of actual expenses incurred) subject to maximum Rs 5000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only) per month. Mobile allowance: (Reimbursement of actual expenses incurred) subject to maximum of Rs 2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only) per month. Monthly emoluments and allowances may be reviewed annually.
Chief Risk Officer:
Selected candidate will draw a starting basic pay of Rs 1,16,120/- pm. In the scale of Rs 116120 – (3220/4) – 129000/- applicable for the post of General Manager in TEGS VII The selected candidate will also be eligible for the perquisites/ Quarter facilities (in-lieu of HRA) as applicable to the post of General Manager.

UCO Bank Recruitment 2022:Eligibility Criteria
The application should keep the eligibility criteria for the various posts under UCO Bank in mind. The eligibility criteria is as follows:
Nationality
A candidate must be either
(i)a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before Jan.1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania ( Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that of a candidates belong to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favor certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt. of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to examination/Group discussions/interview conducted by the Bank, but on final selection, the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate issued to him by Government of India is submitted to the Bank.
Fire Officer:
- Educational Qualifications–
Graduate with either B.E (Fire) from National Fire Service College, Nagpur (NFSC) OR Grade – I from India/UK or Station Officer’s course from NFSC with 03 (three) years’ experience OR Sub-Officer’s course from NFSC with 05 (five) years’ experience.
- Experience –
Minimum 05 (five) years’ experience of working as fire officer with any PSU/”Navratna Industry”/Private Corporate Organization. Candidates should have a great knowledge of fire safety norms and State/Central Government rules and regulations in fire safety and security.
- Important:
The appointment is purely on contract basis for a period of 03 (three) years. This appointment will not vest any right to claim by the candidate for regular appointment or permanent absorption in the institute OR for continued contractual appointment which may be renewed or terminated on the basis of satisfactory performance and conduct. On successful completion of 03 (three) years terms, the tenure may be further extended for 02 (two) years (one year at a time) on the basis of satisfactory performance and conduct.
The contract will automatically expire on completion of three years until it is renewed with mutual consent for the decided period. The contractual appointment can be terminated at any time, by either side, by giving 30 days’ notice or salary in lieu thereof

Chief Risk Officer
- Educational Qualifications-
- Professional certification in Financial Risk Management from Global Association of Risk Professionals or,
- Professional Risk Management Certification from PRMIA Institute.
- Desirable educational qualification:
Holder of Chartered Financial Analyst charter awarded by CFA Institute. or
Designated as Chartered Accountant by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, or equivalent abroad, or
Designated as a cost and Management Accountant by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, or equivalent.
- Experience:
Experience with a Bank (India/Abroad)/ Financial Institution with substantial exposure to Credit Risk, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Liquidity Risk, Interest Rate Risk, other pillar II risks and risks emanating at and from overseas operations and group entities.

- Candidates are required to have a valid personal e-mail address and mobile number, which should be kept active till the completion of this Recruitment Bank may send call letters for the examination etc. through the registered e-mail ID. In case a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new e- mail ID before applying on-line and must maintain that e-mail account and mobile number also.
- Candidates should scan their photograph and signature ensuring that both the photograph (4.5cmX3.5cm) and signature adhere to the required specifications as given under Guideline for photograph & signature scan and

Fire Officer
Detailed functioning of Fire Officer are as under:
- Responsible for fire safety of Bank’s high rise buildings, formulate and implement Bank’s Fire Policy in offices/branches/residences etc.
- To prepare fire orders and fire operational plans and get them promulgated.
- Impart regular training to the occupants of the building in the case of fire-fighting equipment provided on the premises and keep them informed about the fire emergency evacuation plan.
- Maintain all the fire-fighting equipment in good working condition at all times.
- Keep proper liaison with local fire brigade.
- Ensure that all fire precautionary measures are observed at all times.
- Assisting the Bank in designing building plans with adequate fire safety measures.
- Work under the general supervision of Chief Security Officer of the Bank.
- Carry out routine visits to all high rise buildings of our Bank and submit his recommendations for strengthening the fire safety aspects already in place.
- Provide adequate training to security officers, Armed Guards and other Staff members on fire prevention and fire fighting.

Chief Risk Officer
The Chief Risk Officer will head the bank’s risk function and shall oversee the entire process of Risk Management in the bank, including at the group level, i.e., covering Domestic Operations, International Subsidiaries, Domestic Subsidiaries, Overseas Territories and Branches. He/She will be responsible for review of the Risk Models, developing policies, procedures and pricing models, etc. of the Bank.
The Role of Chief Risk Officer will be mainly classified under the following area of operations:
Credit Risk Management
1) Responsible for Bank-wide effective credit risk management and its implementation.
2) Ensure that there are adequate resources with required skills, experience and qualification.
3) Review and approval of results of credit risk management/processes before its reporting to board.
4) Ensure that all the reporting is done in a timely and accurate manner.
5) Ensure coordination between various functions/ departments in Bank engaged in credit risk management.
6) Ensure adequate training to Bank employees on areas of Credit Risk Management through workshop, e-learning materials, induction and other on-going training programs.
Market Risk Management
1) Translate Market Risk Management framework established by the Board of Directors into specific policies, processes and procedures that can be implemented and verified within the different business units.
2) Clearly assign authority, responsibility and reporting relationships to encourage and maintain accountability and ensure that the necessary resources are available to manage market risk effectively.
3) Assess the appropriateness of the management oversight process in light of the risks inherent in a business unit’s policy.
4) Ensure day-to-day activities are conducted by qualified staff with the necessary expertise, technical capabilities and access to resources and that staff responsible for monitoring and enforcing compliance are independent from the units they oversee.
5) Ensure that market risk management policy has been clearly communicated to staff at all levels that deal with market risk.
6) Give particular attention to the quality of documentation controls and transaction-handling practices.
Operational Risk Management
1) Supervise the activities of Risk Management Department for the continual implementation of effective operational risk management framework and all its components.
2) Review and approve the recommendations of the Risk Management Department before submission to the Committee/Board.
3) Assess inter-relationships between Operational and other risk types. To facilitate the analysis of risks and inter-relationships of risks across market, credit and operational risks.
4) Assure that line and executive management maintains an ongoing understanding of operational risks and participates in related risk management activities.
Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk Management
1) Supervise the activities of ALM Cell for the continual implementation of the effective liquidity risk management framework and all of its components.
2) Review and approval of Asset Liability Management Policy.
3) Review and approval of the recommendations of the ALM Cell before submission to ALCO. 4) Assess inter-relationships between market risk and other risk types. To facilitate the analysis of risks and inter-relationships of risks across market, credit and operational risks.
5) Ensure that line and executive management maintain an ongoing understanding of liquidity and interest rate risks and participate in related risk management activities.
Management of group risk including risks emanating at and from overseas operations and group entities
Overseeing risk management activities at overseas branches of UCO Bank.
Others
1) Shall approve Independent evaluation of Credit proposals through Credit Risk rating/vetting reports and Key risk factors along with independent views shall be provided for credit proposals. 2) To actively participate in executive level Risk Management Committees and convene Board level RMC.
3) To review and place / forward recommendations of Integrated Risk Management Department to different functional committees like Credit Risk Management Committee (CRMC), Asset Liability Management Committee (ALCO) or sub-committee of the BOARD etc.
4) To monitor development of methodologies for adoption of Advanced Approaches for Credit / Market/ Operational Risk.
5) To be part of capital planning process for the Bank which interalia include:
- Estimation/projection of Risk Weighted Assets & CRAR
- Estimation of capital requirement based on regulatory as well as targeted Capital ratios.
6) Be part of computation of Base Rate, Marginal Cost of Funds based Lending Rate (MCLR) and Repo Linked lending rate of the Bank and for fixation of Risk premium as per risk profile of the borrower.
7) Issuing guidelines regarding pre-sanction appraisal, loan dispensation, post-sanction follow up, loaning powers, exposure limits and other lending related regulations.
8) Define and review Risk Appetite Framework of the bank.
9) Any other roles and responsibilities as prescribed by Reserve Bank of India or approved by Bank’s Board from time to time. He shall report directly to the bank’s Chief Executive/ Risk Management Committee of the Board.
