• Work experience of at least one year. Candidates should have experience of working on light motor vehicles, heavy passenger vehicles, and heavy goods vehicles
• Must hold a driving license for motor vehicle, heavy goods vehicle, and heavy passenger motor vehicle.

UPPSC Regional Inspector RI Selection Process 2021

The UPPSC Regional Inspector Selection Process 2021 consists of two stages: written test and practical test.

• UPPSC Regional Inspector written test will be a subjective type examination. Examination comprises of two papers Paper I, Paper-II. Paper I is for 60 marks and paper II is for 100 marks. Duration of the examination is 2 hours and 3 hours respectively.
• A practical test will also be conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission in order to recruit candidates for the post of regional inspector. Weightage of the practical test is 100 marks. 
• For the UPPSC Regional inspector practical test, there will be a driving test on heavy vehicles. This will be as per the provisions of the motor vehicles act. The practical test also includes dismantling and assembling components following safety measures using proper tools.
