Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC )has released the exam date for departmental tests of First Grade Surveyor / Head Surveyor Practical test. According to the notification, the exam will be held from 8 March 2022 to 11 March 2022. This is the date for the practical test conducted as a part of recruitment of surveyors.

Kerala PSC Departmental Test 2022 Exam Date
PSC will conduct the Departmental test for First Grade Surveyor/ Head Surveyor in the month of March 2022. The test will be practical tests for the recruitment to post mentioned above. The exams will be conducted on 8th March, 9th March, 10th March and 11th March. The practical test will start at 5.30 AM (Five Thirty in the morning). The test will be conducted at Shanmugham Beach in Thiruvananthapuram.

Kerala PSC Departmental Test 2022 – Subjects
1: Which Year First Assembly Election was held in Kerala?
Kerala PSC will be conducting Practical tests for the recruitment of First Grade Surveyor/ Head Surveyor in the month of March 2022. The subjects for the practical test are as follows:
- Theodolite Survey Processes
- Survey of obstructed lines
- Replacement of missing stones in the several systems of survey
- Azimuth
- Observations
- Triangulation of Distance
The practical test will be conducted for a total of fifty marks and the candidates should secure 40% i.e. 20 marks to be qualified.

- Theodolite with flag staves and dark glass
- Metric Chain
- Cross Staff
- Arrows (10 nos.)
- Chambers Tablets(book)
- Scale
- Parallel Ruler 1
- White Paper
- Pencil
- Azimuth Entry Forms
- Scientific Calculator
The candidates can download the admit ticket from their profile through the official website. This can be be done from 24 February, 2022. This admission ticket must be duly attested by the Head of Office. Those who do not bring the attested admit ticket will not be admitted to the place of examination.

The departmental test for First Grade Surveyor/ Head Surveyor is conducted in two parts – PART A and PART B. PART A comprises of another three papers – Paper I, Paper II and Paper III. Paper I and Paper II are written exams of fifty and hundred marks respectively, whereas Paper III is a practical test. Those aspiring for the First Grade Surveyor post has to only attempt PART A. Those aspiring for the Surveyor Head’s post should attempt both PART A and PART B. . The candidates are allowed to appear for PART B only after having passed Paper I, II & III under Part A. Candidates who have applied for Head Surveyor Test must send the details of the First Grade Surveyor Test that they have already passed, to the Joint Secretary of Departmental Test in Kerala Public Service Commission within 15 days of date of notification.
