- Executive, Legislature, Judiciary (Union and State level) and other Constitutional Authorities.
- Centre-State Relations: Legislative, Administrative, and Financial.
- Services under the Union and the States.
- Emergency Provisions and Amendment Provisions of the Constitution.
Social Welfare Legislations and Programmes
- Right to Information Act, Prevention of Atrocities against Women & Children, Food Security Act, Environmental Acts, etc.
- Social Welfare Programmes like Employment Guarantee Programme, Organ and Blood Donation, etc.

Module II (b): Basic Civil Engineering
- Materials: Types and strength of brick, cement, steel, aggregates, and concrete.
- Construction: Types of foundations, masonry types, survey methods, leveling, and modern survey instruments.
Module II (c): Basic Mechanical Engineering
- IC Engines: Classification, working of two-stroke and four-stroke engines, comparison between petrol and diesel engines.
- Power Plants: Working of hydroelectric, thermal, and nuclear power plants with schematic diagrams.
Module II (d): Basic Electrical Engineering
- Electrical Basics: Current, voltage, power, EMF, resistance, Ohm’s law, series-parallel circuits, and electromagnetism.
- AC and DC Circuits: Power and energy calculations, AC circuits with R, L, C, and power factor.
