A village extension officer has good salary scale and promotion. The pay scale of a VEO is Rs 20,000 – Rs 45,800/-. More details about educational qualification and age criteria is as below
- The applicant who passed SSLC examination with 40% or with equivalent can apply
- Age limit for applying the post is from 19 to 36 for general category. Age relaxations are for OBC and SC/ST applicants as per PSC norms.
Kerala PSC VEO Promotion Details
VEO grade II post is promoted to block development officer. For aspirants who are going to write the exam, there is much glorious career ahead. As it is a district wise exam, there will be separate question paper for each district. Candidate should give the confirmation of their candidature in the profile. Confirmation link has been notified for five districts- Kozhikode, Kottayam, Idukki, Kannur and Trivandrum. Last date for giving the confirmation for Kerala PSC VEO GRADE II EXAM is August 11, 2019. As per notification, exam date for Trivandrum and Kozhikode is October 12 2019, Saturday and exam for Kollam, idukki and Kannur has been scheduled on October 26, 2019, Saturday. Dates for other district are not yet notified. Candidates who not yet give their confirmation can submit it through their one time registration profile. Exam pattern for Kerala PSC VEO exam 2019
The examination is of OMR model and total duration is 1 hour 15 minutes. Maximum mark is 100. The medium of question include Malayalam/Tamil/Kannada for part 1, 2, 4 and English for part 3.
