For candidates belonging to Kasaragod district, the Co-operative Diploma Course (GDC) conducted by the Karnataka State Co-operative Federation or the Junior Diploma in Co-operation (JDC) conducted by the Kerala State Co-operative Union will be accepted as equivalent basic qualifications. 
- 
Additionally, candidates who possess any of the following higher qualifications are also eligible to apply: - 
B.Com. Degree with Co-operation as an elective subject, or 
- 
Any Degree from a recognized university along with a Higher Diploma in Co-operation (HDC / HDC&BM) awarded by the Kerala State Co-operative Union, or 
- 
HDC / HDCM awarded by the National Council for Co-operative Training (NCCT), or 
- 
B.Sc. (Co-operation and Banking) from the Kerala Agricultural University (KAU). 
 
- 
Both graduates and diploma holders in co-operation are eligible to apply, provided they fulfill the prescribed training and educational requirements under the Kerala Co-operative Societies Rules.
2. Assistant Secretary/ Chief Accountant:
As per Rule 186 (1)(ia) of the Kerala Co-operative Societies Rules, candidates applying for the Assistant Secretary, Manager, or Chief Accountant post must fulfill the following educational requirements:

A Degree from a recognized university with not less than 50% marks in aggregate for all subjects. 
- 
Along with the degree, candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications: - 
Higher Diploma in Co-operation (HDC) or HDC&BM awarded by the Kerala State Co-operative Union, or 
- 
HDC / HDCM awarded by the National Council for Co-operative Training (NCCT), or 
- 
Successfully completed the Subordinate Personal Co-operative Training Course (Junior Diploma in Co-operation – JDC), or 
- 
B.Sc. / M.Sc. (Co-operation and Banking) from the Kerala Agricultural University (KAU), or 
- 
B.Com. Degree with Co-operation as an optional subject, recognized by any university in Kerala, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

3. Secretary
Candidates applying for the Secretary post under Kerala CSEB 2025 must meet one of the following qualification and experience combinations:

Option 1: - 
Educational Qualification: Degree along with Higher Diploma in Co-operation and Business Management (HDC&BM).

Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience as an Accountant or in a higher post in a Co-operative Bank.

Option 2: - 
Educational Qualification: B.Sc. (Co-operation and Banking) from the Kerala Agricultural University (KAU).

Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as an Accountant or in a higher post in a Co-operative Bank.

Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or M.Com with Finance as the main subject, or Membership in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

4. Data Entry Operator:

Professional Certification: A Data Entry Course completion certificate from an institution approved by the Government of Kerala or the Central Government.

Work Experience: A minimum of one year’s experience as a Data Entry Operator in a recognized institution. 
5. Typist:
A Degree along with Typewriting and Computer Proficiency certificates (Lower/Higher grade) from a recognized board or institution.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux-based environments.
