RRB ASM Selection Process 2021
Railway Recruitment Board conducts national level examination for the selection of eligible candidates to the post of Assistant Station Master. There are different levels of recruitment process each candidate has to go through in order to qualify into the final rank list. Here are the details regarding the selection process in the RRB ASM Exam.

Computer Based Test
The Computer Based Test is the first and second round of recruitment to the post of constable. Candidates whose application has been approved is called in for an online computer based Test. There are a total of 100 questions which carry 1 mark each in the first Computer based test. And in the second level of CBT there are a total of 120 questions which carry 1 mark each.. There are also different modules for this test so that knowledge of the candidate from different sections can be tested. This computer based test is a qualifying mode examination. Those candidates who have the required cut off from this test are selected for the physical test and physical measurement round.

Computer Based Aptitude Test
Candidates who have qualified the two rounds of Computer Based Test are called in for a Computer Based Aptitude Test. This is the second level of the RRB ASM Examination.

Document Verification
Document Verification is the last round of RRB ASM recruitment. In this process the candidate has to present their original documents before the recruitment commission for cross checking and verification. If a candidate fails to do so, the candidateship is terminated by the commission.

RRB ASM Exam 2021: Apply Online
Railway Recruitment Board releases the notification inviting applications from eligible candidates through the official website. Candidates who have the required qualifications mentioned in the official notification can apply to the post and pay the fees for the same through online. Here are the steps that each candidate has to follow in order to apply for the post online.
- Log in to the official website of RRB @indianrailways.gov.in.
- Enter basic details such as Name, Parent’s Name, Category, date of birth, email id and upload a recent passport size photograph and signature, etc that has been asked in the registration portal. Check the information submitted again and click to submit the basic details.
- In the second stage of the Online registration respective language and zone as per convenience can be selected by the candidates.
- Pay the Application fee by using Debit Card / Credit Card / Internet Banking through Payment Gateway in the official website of RRB itself.
- Download the Registration Slip at the end of the application process with a unique registration number, photograph, signature and other essential details. Take a print for further reference.
RRB ASM Application Fees 2021
Candidates who are applying for the Railway Recruitment Board Assistant Station Master post have to pay an application fee during the time of application. The fees can be paid through the online method itself.
- General/OBC : Rs. 500/-
- SC/ST/Female Candidates/Ex-servicemen/EBC/PwD: Rs. 250/-
RRB ASM 2021: Cut-off Marks
Eligible candidates to the post of assistant station master is done through a national level examination conducted by Railway Recruitment Board. The examination is of qualifying nature and candidates who wish to make it to the final rank list have to get a specific cut-off in each section of examination. The cut-off marks are decided by the recruitment board and the marks are decided according to the difficulty of the examination. The minimum qualifying marks in each stage of the CBT has been mentioned in the notification which has been mentioned in the table below:
