RRB SSE 2022 Salary – Pay Scale and Allowances

The most attractive trait in a job notification that the aspirants look into is its scale of pay. Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will be announcing notification for the post of Senior Section Engineer (SSE) 2022 shortly. Railway Recruiting Cell (RRC) is the authority that organizes the selection procedure of candidates for the post. RRB SSE 2022 Salary

Aspirants can check details of the Scale of Pay for the upcoming RRB SSE 2022. The salary, allowances, and all other benefits will be prepared under the guidance of the Central Government as Railway comes under the Central Govt.

The basic pay scale for a Trainee Senior Section Engineer or Apprentice SSE will be Rs.44900/-.

And the Dearness Allowance (DA) will be Rs.3143/-.

So, the monthly income of the trainee will be a total of Basic and DA,  that is an amount of Rs.48043/- (Rs.5.76 Lakhs per annum).

After a period of 52 days, the candidates under the training can get an increase in the salary up to Rs.48043/-. Apart from that, there will be a House Rent Allowance (HRA of Rs.10776/-) and Transport Allowance (TA of Rs.3600/-) will be added to the basic pay of the employee. And the net salary will be Rs.62419/- per month (7.49 Lakhs per annum).

7^th Pay Commission Details

According to the 7th Pay Commission, the pay scale of the Senior Section Engineer’s basic pay is Rs.44900/-. According to the Post Class-III, the 6th CPC Pay Scale is 9,300-34,800, and the Grade Pay of Rs.4,600/-.

Basic pay is different in different commissions. During the 6th CPC, the basic pay was 13,900 and now, for the 7th CPC, the basic pay is 44,900/-. Subsequently, the total gross salary per month for an RRB SSE Officer will be  Rs. 63,000/- to 80,000/-

Allowance Details

House rent allowance to the SSE posts will be provided according to the posts of the employee. The HRA rates are 27%, 18%, and 9%. Staff who were living in staff headquarters. will not be eligible to receive the HRA.

Employee Provident Fund (EPF)

As we all know, the Employee Provident Fund, EPF, is deposited on the Senior Section Engineer’s PF account. PF is really an important factor for choosing the Government sector jobs by the candidates. The employer’s contribution will be 8.33 towards the EPF, and the remaining 3.67 is contributed towards the pension scheme. Consequently, a total of 20.33% of basic pay is being deposited every month in the Employee provident fund account.

Dearness Allowance (DA)

The Dearness Allowance rates will be revised after every six months. The current rate of Dearness Allowance, DA, for the Central government employees is 7%.

The posts included are- Permanent Way, Bridge, Works, Drawing (Civil) & Design & Estimation, TMS, Research Engineer/Engg, Mechanical – Workshop, Mechanical, Carriage & Wagon, Dsl Mechanical, Dsl Electrical, J&T (Jig & Tools), Drawing & Design Mechanical, Electrical/ Electrical (GS), Electrical – TRD, Electrical – TRS, Electrical / Workshop, Drawing/ Design& Drawing Electrical, Signal, Telecommunication, (S&T), Workshop, Drawing/S&T, PCO/ Shop Floor, Track Machine.
