As per the new notification, the staff selection commission will conduct the Paper 1 of this recruitment from July 1st 2024 to July 20th 2024 (tentative). SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit – 18 yrs to 27 yrs (as on 01-09-2024). Age relaxation will be provided to the upper age limit as per the norms of the government.
Educational Qualifications (As on 01-09-2024): The candidates must have passed Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Application fee: Rs. 100/-. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of the fee.

Paper-II is a Descriptive examination, consisting of Short Essay/Letter in English or in any language included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution. The duration of examination is 30 minutes with maximum marks of 50.

Following minimum cut-off has been applied on the normalized scores of Paper-I during the previous years.
