Kerala CSEB – Exam Pattern (Previous)
As mentioned earlier in the article, the recruitment consists of two levels, a written test and interview. Lets see the exam pattern in detail.
Exam Pattern for Written Test
The Kerala CSEB written test is conducted online. The test is conducted in the respective centres with the OMR Sheets. The syllabus for the examination will vary according to the post which the candidate applies to. In general the written test carries a maximum of 80 marks and includes 160 questions. The marking scheme is as follows.
- 0.5 marks is awarded for one correct answer.
- There no negative marking
- Number of correct answers multiplied with 0.5 will give your total score
The maximum marks for written examination shall be 80 and those who secure 40% of the marks will be eligible for the interview. If the candidate belongs to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe, those who secure 30% of marks will clear the round to attend the interview.
Interview
The Examination Board conducts the written examination and prepares a list of eligible candidates to be interviewed within a period of three months from the date of requisition by the society. As per the conditions mentioned under the previous heading, if the candidate clears the written test, they are eligible to attend the interview round.
The maximum marks is 15 and the minimum marks 3. The candidates belonging to the district or districts to which the area of operation of the society extends will be awarded with 5 marks over as grace marks. On receipt of the list from the Board, the committee conducts an interview of the candidates within two months . The Board notes down the marks secured by each candidate in written examination and interview and a consolidated list will be prepared and released.

Ans. The CSEB exam is a government job exam which is conducted by the Kerala State Cooperative Societies Examination Board for the recruitment of candidates on Clerk posts. The candidates are recruited at Permanent Service.
Q2. Is there any age limit for the CSEB exam?
Ans. The age limit is 21 years to 40 years.
Q3. Can the candidate make changes to the examination center?
Ans. No changes are allowed after submitting the form.

Ans. The educational criteria are 50% marks in aggregate in 1Graduation/ Postgraduation from a recognized university/ institute. The educational criteria differ for each post.
