Who is NOT Eligible for CSEB 2026 – Common Disqualifications
Avoid application rejection by checking these common eligibility errors:
1. Age as on 01 January 2026 is Below 18 or Above 40 (General)
If you were born after 01 January 2008 (below 18) or before 01 January 1986 (above 40 for General), you are not eligible. Check your age relaxation category carefully.
2. Only SSLC / 10th Pass Without JDC (for Junior Clerk)
SSLC alone is NOT sufficient for Junior Clerk posts. You must have SSLC + JDC as the minimum. However, a degree (any) from a recognized university eliminates the need for JDC.
3. Degree with Less than 50% Aggregate (for Asst. Secretary / Chief Accountant)
If your degree aggregate is below 50%, you are NOT eligible for the Assistant Secretary or Chief Accountant post under Notification 16/2026, regardless of other qualifications.
4. No Work Experience (for Secretary Post)
The Secretary post has a mandatory experience requirement (5 or 7 years in cooperative banking). Freshers or candidates without banking/cooperative experience are NOT eligible.
5. B.Sc. (CS) / BCA for System Administrator
Only MCA or B.Tech. in Computer Science / ECE / IT qualifies for System Administrator. B.Sc. (Computer Science), BCA, PGDCA, or other computer diplomas are NOT mentioned as qualifying degrees.
6. DEO Without All 3 Conditions
For Data Entry Operator, you need ALL THREE: Degree + Data Entry Certificate + 1 year experience. Missing even one condition makes you ineligible.
7. Applying After Educational Qualification Deadline
Candidates who will complete their qualification AFTER 30 June 2026 (last date) are not eligible to apply. Qualification must be obtained before the last date.
8. Sending Application by Post
The board explicitly states: “Applications sent by post will NOT be accepted.” Only online applications at keralacseb.kerala.gov.in are valid.
9. Not Completing One-Time Registration (OTR)
Candidates who have not done One-Time Registration on the CSEB Kerala portal cannot apply. OTR must be completed before submitting the application.
