Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the post of Lecturer in Government Degree Colleges in A.P Collegiate Education Service should have the following educational qualifications.

• Candidates must have a minimum of 55 percent marks or an equivalent Grade of B on a 7-point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E, and F at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian university.
• Passed the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturers administered by the UGC, CSIR, or similar UGC-accredited tests, or SLET administered by Osmania University.

Age Limit

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and no older than 42 years old as of 01/07/2018. Candidates must also have been born between the 2nd of July 1976 and the 1st of July 2000. Age relaxation is available for candidates who fall into one of the categories listed below.

• SC, ST and OBC – 05 years
• Physically Handicapped – 10 years
• N.C.C and Ex Servicemen – 03 years
• Andhra Pradesh State Government Employees – 05 years
