Institute of Banking Personnel Selection(IBPS) published a notification recently for the post of Hindi Officer. Candidates who are eligible and aspiring to attend the exam can apply online mode on the official website www.ibps.in. Selection will be made by a committee and those who are really eligible for the post are being selected for the same. The online process for the above posts will commence from 1 October onwards. The last date of the online application is 14 October 2021. Educational Qualifications
Master’s degree from a recognized university in Hindi with English as a major or elective subject at Graduation. or Master’s degree from a recognized university in English with Hindi as a major or elective subject at Graduation. or Master’s degree from a recognized university in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi as a major or elective subject and English as a medium of examination at degree level. or Master’s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English with English as a major or elective subject and Hindi as a medium of examination at degree level.
Age Limit
The age limit of the post-Hindi officers is 21-30 years.
Selection Process
The selection procedure for the post-Hindi Officers is by Online Exam, Skill test, Item Writing Exercise, and Personal Interview.
Scale Of Pay
Salary for the post of Hindi Officers is Rs- 44,900/-

Work Experience As Hindi Officer
One year of experience in Hindi translation of various reports/ Documents/ Letters in a bank/financial institution is desirable. Competency in operating computers is a must. The candidate will be required to type/create the translated text documents on his/her own in MS word & Excel in Hindi & English.

Documents To Be Produced
In the examination hall as well as at the time of the further process of selection including interview, the call letter along with a photocopy of the candidate’s photo identity (bearing exactly the same name as it appears on the call letter) such as PAN Card/ Passport/ Permanent Driving Licence/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook with photograph/ Photo identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer/ People’s Representative along with a photograph / Identity Card issued by a recognized college/ university/ Aadhar/ E-aadhar card with a photograph/ Employee ID/ Bar Council ID card should be submitted to the invigilator for verification. The candidate’s identity will be verified with respect to his/her details on the call letter, in the Attendance List and the requisite documents submitted. If the identity of the candidate is in doubt the candidate may not be allowed to appear for the Examination/ further process of selection including an interview.
