Category Certificate Requirements for Application

OBC Certificate

Candidates applying for posts identified under the OBC category must have a valid OBC certificate as on the last date of application (16-08-2026), issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed proforma applicable for reservation/concessions under the Government of India.

EWS Certificate

Candidates applying under the EWS category must have a valid Income and Asset Certificate (valid for financial year 2026-2027), issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed proforma.

PwBD Certificate

Candidates applying against PwBD-reserved posts must be prepared to submit a self-attested Disability Certificate at the time of the Skill Test, clearly indicating the percentage of disability, issued by a duly constituted Medical Board of at least 3 members (one being a specialist in the relevant field).

Rules for Applying to Multiple ISRO 2026 Posts

• A candidate may apply for multiple posts, subject to conditions.
• A candidate can apply for different posts under the same or different zones, but cannot apply for the same post in different zones.
  • Example: A candidate may apply for Post No. 1 (Assistant) in Ahmedabad Zone and Post No. 3 (UDC) under Bengaluru Zone/Department of Space. However, they cannot apply for Post No. 1 (Assistant) in Ahmedabad Zone and again Post No. 1 (Assistant) under Bengaluru Zone.
• Candidates applying for multiple posts must select the same written test centre for both applications.
• Since a common application is used for all notified posts, a candidate applying for multiple posts will be considered only against the notified reservation of the specific post number(s), provided the notified eligibility criteria are met.
