- Typing of letters in connection with supply of photocopies of patents,
connected Proforma invoice, calculation sheet. - Sorting mail and responding to it or distributing it to appropriate employees
- Attending telephone calls and emails and redirecting them to other employees when appropriate
- Typing work of Annual Budget, performance Budget, Annual Plan and
estimate. - Typing of monthly reports, quarterly reports, annual report/half yearly
report/project report required periodically. - Maintenance of cash entrusted with one LDC by granting special pay for full
time work and preparation of permanent advance bills and pay bills,
Telephone bills, rent bills etc.
Kerala Dewaswom Board LDC Job Profile 2025 –Career Growth/Promotion
An LDC is the lowest in the clerical rank, and the appointment is done through the Kerala Public Service Commission. However, an LDC can grow up to the level of Deputy Collector, RDO, or ADM with promotions. The promotions are based on seniority in the service.

Kerala Dewaswom Board LDC Job Profile 2025 – Allowance And Benefits
Dearness Allowance (DA):
The LDC will be eligible for 15% DA in a metro city. Allowances are revised on quarterly basis.
House Rent Allowance (HRA):
An LDC receives INR 2400 HRA & CCA on an average. Apart from HRA, the LDC also receives a company leased accommodation where the employer pays for the rent every month. The allowances may increase according to the post as per the last recruitment notification.
Transport Allowance:
Employees are considered for transport allowance at a concessional rate within the state. Travel allowance may differ for different post.
