Kerala PSC Assistant Jailor Grade 1 Selection Process 2026
The selection for Assistant Jailor Grade I, Superintendent (Sub Jail), and Supervisor under Kerala PSC may involve a combination of a written/OMR/online examination and a Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Candidates must successfully clear all stages to be considered for final appointment.
1. Written/OMR/Online Examination
- If the Kerala PSC conducts a written or online exam, candidates must confirm their participation via their One Time Registration (OTR) profile within the specified window.
- Only candidates who submit confirmation can generate and download their Admission Ticket, which is available during the last 15 days before the exam date.
- Failing to confirm within the allowed period will result in automatic rejection.
- Notifications regarding the exam confirmation and admit card availability will be communicated through the PSC profile and the registered mobile number.
- Attendance is strictly allowed only for candidates with a downloaded Admission Ticket.
2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Before appearing for the PET, candidates must undergo a Physical Measurement Test to verify compliance with minimum physical standards.

Kerala PSC Assistant Jailor Grade 1 Eligibility Criteria 2026
1. Recruitment Mode
- 451/2025: Open direct recruitment for general candidates.
- 452/2025: Direct recruitment limited to qualified Ministerial Staff (approved probationers).
- 453/2025: Direct recruitment limited to qualified Executive Staff (approved probationers).
2. Academic Qualification
- A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university is mandatory for all categories.
- KS & SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) applies.
- Government-approved equivalent or higher qualifications are acceptable; official proof must be produced when requested.
