Kerala PSC has officially released the Last Grade Servants Notification 2022 on 31 December 2019. The last date to apply online was 05 February 2020. Kerala PSC Excise Inspector 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Let us look into the details of the few qualifications and specifications required to be checked as we consider our self to be eligible to apply to the post of Kerala PSC Excise Inspector posts

1. Age limit

The candidates should be in an age range of 19 -31 in order to apply to the post of PSC LGS. The candidates born between 2 January 1988 and 1 January 2000(both dates included) are the eligible candidates to apply to this post.

Age relaxation for LGS applicants are as follows.

• 5 years of age relaxation for SC/ST
• 3 years of age relaxation for other backward classes

2.Educational Qualification

The candidate should possess B.A, B.Sc or B.Com Degree from any recognized University or its equivalent

For Ex-Servicemen the minimum qualification is SSLC.

Note:

• Those candidates with equivalent qualification has to produce respective government order at the time of one time registration or when asked by the commission.

3. Physical Qualification

The candidate has to be fit for outdoor work and should possess the following minimum physical standard to be eligible to apply for the post of Excise inspector

Male candidates

The minimum height required is: 165 cm

The minimum height for SC/ST candidates is: 160 cm

The minimum chest measurement is: 80 cm

Chest expansion: 5 cm

No relaxation is provided for SC/ST candidates for chest measurement:

Female candidates

The minimum height required is: 152 cm

The minimum height for SC/ST candidates is: 150 cm

No chest measurement is required for female candidates

Note:

• Differently able candidates are not eligible to the post of excise Inspector
• NCC certificate holders with A, B and C certificates will be given weightage of marks at 2%, 3% and 5 % respectively
• Candidates should submit a medical certificate during verification in a format as prescribed in the official website by a medical officer not below a rank of civil surgeon grade 2 certifying the physical fitness of the candidate.

4. Physical Efficiency Test

Every candidate will  be subject to the Physical Endurance Test in order to be considered qualified to the post of Excise Inspector.

Male Candidates

The candidates should qualify in at least five of the eight events mentioned below.

Female Candidates

Female Candidates should qualify any of the five events out of the eight specified events shown below

Note: If accidents or injuries happen to a candidate while participating in the Physical Efficiency Test, he/she will not be given further chance to participate in the test
