The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced the shortlist of candidates for the Sub Inspector of Police (SI) position. This list is based on the Preliminary Examination conducted on 11th May 2024, 25th May 2024, and 15th June 2024. Please note that inclusion in this provisional list does not guarantee inclusion in the final ranked list, which will be based on the Main Examination. The marks from the Preliminary Examination are only used to determine eligibility for the final exam and will not impact the final ranking or rank list. Kerala PSC SI Cut-off 2024
Candidates who have achieved a score of 28.18 (Twenty-Eight Point One Eight) or higher, after standardization, in the Preliminary OMR test are included in the Eligibility List for the Armed Police Sub Inspector (Trainee)-Constabulary position [for Graduate Head Constables, Police Constables, and officers of equivalent rank in the Police or Vigilance Department] under Statewide category 576/2023. Candidates who have scored 44.6614 marks or higher in the Preliminary OMR test are included in the eligibility list for the Sub Inspector of Police (Trainee) Open Market position, statewide category 572/2023, for the Kerala Civil Police.
For Category Number 573/2023, candidates who have secured above 0 (zero) marks after standardization in the Preliminary OMR test are included in the eligibility list. To ensure adequate representation, the minimum marks required for various reservation communities have been adjusted. Candidates listed must verify their claims by providing an NOC/service certificate during the One-Time Verification. If their claims are not substantiated at this stage, their applications will be rejected. The final list will be published after the completion of the final examinations.
This cutoff mark has been established to ensure that only those who meet the minimum required standard are considered for the next stage of the selection process. It is important to note that while this list confirms eligibility to proceed, it does not guarantee advancement to the final rank list. The marks obtained in the Preliminary OMR test are solely for determining eligibility and will not affect the final ranking, which will be based on performance in the Main Examination.

Kerala PSC SI Shortlist 2024 Answer Script Revaluation
Under the current procedure, revaluation of answer scripts is not permitted. However, candidates can apply for rechecking of their answer scripts by submitting a request through their One Time Registration profile on the KPSC official website, www.keralapsc.gov.in, and by paying the prescribed fee of Rs. 85 (Rupees Eighty-Five only). Payment must be made via e-payment through the portal. Applications submitted through any other method will not be considered. Candidates have 15 days from the date the Eligibility List is uploaded on the KPSC website to apply for rechecking, which means applications must be submitted by or before 15th August 2024.
Kerala PSC SI Shortlist 2024 Copy of Answer Sheet
Candidates who wish to obtain a photocopy of their OMR answer sheets (Part A & Part B) must submit an online application through their One Time Registration profile on the official KPSC website, www.keralapsc.gov.in. This application requires a fee of Rs. 335 (Rupees Three Hundred and Thirty-Five only), which should be paid via the e-payment mode available on the portal. Candidates have a 15-day window to apply for the photocopy of their OMR sheets, starting from the date the Eligibility List is uploaded on the KPSC website, and no later than 15th August 2024. Applications submitted through any other method will not be accepted. Each candidate is entitled to receive only one copy of their answer sheet, and copies of OMR sheets that are invalidated due to defects will not be issued.
