The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started the Junior Engineer 2019 preliminary examination programme across India in various shifts from October 27, 2020, onwards. Through SSC Junior Engineer 2020 recruitment process the commission will recruit the engineering graduates and diploma holders towards the posts like Junior Engineers of Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Quantity Surveying, etc across 19 Central services with all India service liability. Vacancies for the 2019 recruitment process are yet to declare and will get updated by the commission before the final merit list. The Junior Engineer posts in central services are Group -B (Non-Gazetted), in Level-6 (Rs. 35,400- Rs. 1,12,400/-) of pay matrix of 7th Central Pay Commission. Successful candidates from this CBT should appear for the next stage descriptive exam and the further interview process to grab their position in the central service. The selection process of SSC Junior Engineer (JE) 2019 involves two stages of written test. The preliminary stage exam is Computer Based Objective Type exam, and stage-II of the exam is a conventional paper (descriptive).
