Nearly 19 Central Services uses the SSC JE recruitment to hire candidates towards the posts like Junior Engineers Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Quantity Surveying, etc. Thus selected candidates will be hired to the Group -B (Non-Gazetted), Junior Engineer posts in Level-6 of 7th Central Pay Commission’s pay matrix with initial pay of Rs. 35,400. SSC JE Eligibility Criteria 2021
The Junior Engineer position in 19 central government departments with a great initial pay makes the SSC JE recruitment a favourite among the engineering diploma and graduate holders across India. With the preliminary stage Computer Based Objective Type exam, and the stage-II conventional paper engineering graduates can now debut in their core field along with the job security and high pays. For each of the engineering streams/ departments, the SSC JE eligibility criteria vary slightly, but in normal circumstances, if you have a diploma/ degree in engineering disciples from any recognized institute you are eligible for these positions.
