TNPSC Group 2A Tamil Language Eligibility 2026
Candidates must possess adequate knowledge of Tamil as on the date of notification. You are deemed eligible if you have:
- Passed SSLC/HSC/Degree with Tamil as one of the languages, or
- Studied High School in Tamil medium, or
- Passed SSLC in Tamil medium, or
- Passed the Second Class Language Test (Full Test) in Tamil conducted by TNPSC
If you cannot furnish proof of Tamil knowledge, you will be required to pass this language test within two years of appointment, failing which your service may be discharged.
