The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has entrusted the National Testing Agency (NTA) with the responsibility of conducting the Joint CSIR-UGC NET 2021. Through the test, the eligibility of candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship/Assistant Professorship is determined. The online applications for JRF/NET are invited twice a year. But following the pandemic scenario, the tests were conducted only once a year from 2020. The CSIR UGC NET is being conducted to determine the eligibility for Lectureship/Assistant Professor in the subjects under Science and Technology. The admit cards for CSIR UGC NET 2021 have been released on the main website of NTA. The applicants can download the admit cards right away from the official site. The exams will be from February 15, 2022, to February 17, 2022.

CSIR USC NET 2021 Exam Date 2022
Due to the COVID pandemic waves, the exams in all sectors were delayed, especially the exam dates of the NET too were shuffled out. Again, the fixed dates for the exams have been postponed due to various other natural disasters recently. The postponed NET exams are expected to be conducted on February 15, 16, and 17. One of the shifts was conducted on January 29, 2022. The applicants download right away and locate your examination centers. Don’t wait until the last minute.

CSIR UGC NET 2021 Exam Centre 2022
When the applicants apply for the CSIR UGC NET, they are asked to opt for four cities as their preference for the exam centers. The authority will be assigning the exam centers based on this preference of the applicants. But the exam centers can be other than the applicants’ preferences due to various other factors. The allotted exam centers will be on the applicant’s admit card, which can be downloaded from the official site NTA. The CSIR UGC provides a various number of exam centers in all the states of India. Almost all the district in an Indian state has numerous NET exam centers.
CSIR UGC NET 2021 Exam Pattern 2022

The exam conducted by the CSIR UGC is a computer-based test, i.e., it is an online test. It was in 2020 the CSIR UGC NET exam was conducted as an online test. The maximum mark of the test will be 200. The question paper will have three sections, Section A, Section B, and Section C. Section A will contain the questions on General Aptitude, which will be common to all the subjects. Section B and C will contain the questions that are subject-specific. In Section A and B, 2 marks will be awarded for each correct answer while 4 marks for the correct answers in Section C. There are negative marks for the wrong answers. The negative marking varies from subject to subject.
The candidates who are qualified in the NET exam are called for the interviews and later if the candidates have the JRF minimum score in the NET, they are awarded the Junior Research Fellowship for their research.
