Kerala PSC Block Development Officer (BDO) 2020 -Notification
The government job seekers who possess a graduation in any subject can apply for the Block Development Officer job position in KPSC. The last recruitment notification was published in 2016. This is an administrative level job, which holds the responsibilities regarding the developmental activities in a Block or Panchayat. The candidates who meets the eligibility can apply for the post without any delay. Those candidates who wish to serve society can apply for this job. BDO will be assigned as the authority of taking care of the projects and schemes; and checking those schemes are reaching in a beneficial way to the respective panchayat or block.
The interested candidates can apply to the post through online medium. KPSC invites applications for various posts only through the Official portal called Kerala Public Service Commission Thulasi. The applicants can register themselves into KPSC by One Time Registration portal. After the registration process, the candidate can log in with the user ID and Password created by themselves. The applicant is required to fill up his or her details like personal details, educational details, work experience etc. According to the applicant’s educational qualification, they can apply for the eligible post.
There is no application fee for applying for the job vacancies in the Kerala PSC. The candidates are selected to the posts through two steps such as written examination and Personal Interview. The written examination will be mainly based on the topics like General awareness, current affairs, logical reasoning, mental ability, etc. The candidates who have scored up to the declared cut off will be called for the Personal Interview. The date for the application submission, confirmation, admit card release, examination were not yet announced. The exam will be conducted in the Objective type or OMR format. Before applying to the post, the interested candidates should understand the job role of a Block Development Officer. A panchayat or block or an area is entrusted in the hands of a BDO. He or she has the power over the area assigned to them. They have to promote the facilities provided to the people and should work for the development too.
The Examination for Block Development Officer organizing by the Kerala Public Service Commission is expected to be conducted in the end of 2020 or in the early months of 2021. And the number vacancies have not been published.
