RBI Security Guard Salary 2020
RBI Security Guards are entitled to the duty to protect the RBI Officers across the country. Selected candidates will be appointed in the RBI offices to perform duties like:
- Guarding Bank’s property (official/ Residential),
- Operating X-Ray machines or Multi-Zone Door Frame Metal Detectors (DFMD) for checking baggage at the entrance
RBI Security Guards are expected to work in shifts, including night shifts. The selected candidates shall undergo probation for 2 years including 15 weeks of training at Reserve Bank Staff College. The candidates shall be confirmed in the services of the RBI Security Guard subject to their performance during the probation period.
Salary Details:
- Selected employees will draw a starting basic pay of Rs. 109410/- per month, and other allowances, viz: Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, Transport Allowance, Personal Fixed Allowance, Shift Allowance, Special Functional Allowance, Special Allowance (I), Grade Allowance, Washing Allowance, etc. as admissible from time to time.
- Presently the initial monthly Gross salary for Security Guards is approximately Rs. 24,052/- including House Rent Allowance @ of 15%.
- Reserve Bank of India’s accommodation subject to availability, Book Grant, News Paper Bill, Furnishing of residence, Remuneration of GSLI, Car Insurance, Conveyance Allowance, Repayment of education expenses, Reimbursement of cost of spectacles, etc. as per eligibility.
- Dispensary facility besides reimbursement of medical expenses of Outpatient Department treatment/hospitalization as per eligibility.
- Festival Advance which is interest-free, Leave Fare Concession (Once in two years for self, spouse, and eligible dependents).
- Loans and Advances at reasonable rates of interest for Housing, Car, Education, Consumer Articles, Personal Computer, etc.
- Selected employees will be governed by ‘the defined contribution New Pension Scheme (NPS)’.

RBI will conduct a written test followed by the Physical Efficiency Test to select candidates towards the Reserve bank of India Security Assistant position.
