Kerala High Court Assistant 2024 Selection Process
The Kerala high court is an official conducting body that recruits the most eligible candidates to the post of assistant under Kerala PSC. The candidates who dream to obtain this highly prestigious job should be ready to apply for the post. The recruitment will; be based on the three-tier selection process. The decisions taken by the authority is deemed as final. The three stepped selection processes include the objective test, descriptive test and interview.
The objective test will be conducted for a total of 100 marks. The questions shall be attended in OMR answer sheets that shall be provided to the candidates at the time of the exam. The descriptive test will be conducted for a total of 60 marks. The descriptive test will be written on the answer sheets. Also, the descriptive test will be administrated immediately after the objective test.

Objective Test
The objective test consists of 3 sections. The total marks for the section are 100. The candidates should attain a minimum qualifying mark to qualify in the initial stage of selection. The total period for the exam will be 75 minutes. The syllabus for the objective test includes the following topics: General English, General Knowledge and Basic Mathematics and Reasoning. The General English section will be of 50 marks whereas the general Knowledge section is for 40 marks. The basic mathematics and reasoning section carries 10marks each. Each question carries one mark while the negative marking is applicable. A total of ¼ mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Descriptive Test
The second stage in the selection process is the descriptive test. The descriptive test will be conducted for 60 marks. The time duration allotted for the exam is 60 minutes. The descriptive test consists of comprehension, short essays, precise writings and so on. Those candidates who wish to crack the exam must prepare for the exam with the best books. Interview
The final step in the selection process is nothing other than an interview. Those candidates who are passing through the first two steps can only get through this step. This is deemed as the final stage in the selection process. The candidates are advised to qualify the initial two levels to gain an opportunity to appear in front of the interview board. The total marks for which the interview will be conducted is 10 marks.
The minimum marks for being included in the shortlist is 35% from the interview and the rest consolidated marks of both the objective and descriptive test. The interview will be conducted in English. The candidates who have a degree-level qualification will only be allowed to participate in the interview. Candidates should achieve a minimum of 40% marks in the objective test to appear on the shortlist for an interview. The candidates need to put in their heart and soul to crack the exam and prepare for interview.

Kerala High Court Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2024
The eligibility conditions for the High Court Assistant are as follows:
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks OR Master’s Degree OR Law Degree,
awarded or recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala.
Points to be Noted
- If a candidate possesses only Bachelor Degree with less than 50% marks, he/she is not eligible to apply for the post. Rounding off to the nearest integer is not allowed. (For eg. 49.5% cannot be rounded off to 50%) SC/ST candidates are exempted from the stipulation of minimum 50% marks in the Bachelors’ Degree Course.
- Wherever CGPA/OGPA or letter grade is awarded in a qualifying examination, equivalent percentage of marks should be indicated in the application form as per norms adopted by University/Institute where candidate studied. Candidate shall also obtain a certificate to this effect from University/Institute which shall be required at the time of certificate verification.
- Candidates must have acquired all the qualifications on or before the date of closure of filing of online application. The date of passing eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark sheet or provisional certificate issued by the University/Institute.
