Eligibility Criteria for High Court Assistant:
Educational Qualification
- A Bachelor’s degree from any University in Kerala with a minimum of 50% marks, or a Master’s Degree, or a Law Degree.
- Note: Candidates with only a Bachelor’s Degree and less than 50% marks are ineligible. Rounding off to the nearest integer is not permitted (e.g., 49.5% cannot be rounded off to 50%). However, SC/ST candidates are exempted from the requirement of 50% marks in the Bachelor’s Degree.
- For candidates with CGPA/OGPA or letter grades, the equivalent percentage of marks should be indicated in the application form, as per norms of the University/Institute. A certificate from the University/Institute validating this conversion is necessary during certificate verification.
- All qualifications must be obtained before the closing date of the online application, and the date of passing eligibility examination will be the one mentioned on the mark sheet or provisional certificate issued by the University/Institute.

Kerala High Court Assistant Selection Process 2026
The selection process for the position will consist of three evaluation rounds to ensure the selection of the most suitable candidate.
The first round will be an objective-type exam, carrying 100 marks and lasting for 75 minutes. This segment will feature multiple-choice questions designed to assess the candidate’s knowledge and skills in the relevant field.
The second round will be a descriptive exam, worth 60 marks and lasting for 60 minutes. Candidates will need to provide descriptive answers to questions to demonstrate their ability to communicate effectively and express ideas clearly.
The third and final round will be an interview, worth 10 marks, conducted by the recruitment panel. This phase offers candidates the opportunity to showcase their personality, communication skills, and suitability for the job. A minimum score of 35% in the interview is required for inclusion in the ranked list. Successful candidates will be appointed to the High Court Assistant position.
