Their previous service will also be counted for probation in the new university.

Kerala PSC Electrician Eligibility Criteria 2026 – Age, Qualification

The post of Electrician in various Universities of Kerala will be filled through Direct Recruitment. Eligible candidates must apply online through the Kerala PSC One Time Registration profile.

Age Limit

• The eligible age range for this post is 18–36 years.
• Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) can apply.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must possess any one of the following:

2. Two years of experience as a Wireman or Electrician

Equivalent / Higher Qualifications

• Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS&SSR applies.
• Qualifications accepted by Government orders or recognized as equivalent by the Commission will also be considered, provided they meet the required criteria.
• Candidates claiming equivalency must produce the relevant Government Order during verification.
• If there is a difference between caste/community mentioned in the application and SSLC, candidates must produce a Gazette Notification along with the required caste certificates during verification.

Experience Certificate Requirement

Candidates must produce an Experience Certificate in the prescribed format.
The Kerala PSC will verify the authenticity of all certificates, and strict legal action will be taken against individuals who issue or submit bogus experience certificates.
