The Kerala PSC University Assistant recruitment 2026 comes with anticipated vacancies across various Universities in Kerala. While the exact number of vacancies will be announced later, candidates should prepare based on the anticipated openings.

A common ranked list will be prepared for all participating Universities. Candidates will be advised from this list in order of their ranks as vacancies arise, following reservation and rotation rules. Once a candidate is appointed or advised for a University, their turn for that vacancy is considered complete, but they can register again for future vacancies in other Universities if eligible.

Additionally, 4% of the total reported vacancies are reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates.

• Written/OMR/Online Test:
  Candidates must confirm their intent to appear via their One Time Registration profile. Only confirmed candidates can download admission tickets, issued 15 days prior to the exam. Non-confirmation results in rejection.

  After qualifying the test, candidates must present original certificates and documents for verification, validating their eligibility and claimed qualifications.

• Probation Period:
  Selected candidates undergo a two-year probation within a continuous period of three years. During probation, they are required to pass the Secretariat Manual and Accounts Test, ensuring proper training for the University Assistant role.
