SBI Apprentice Selection Process 2022

The SBI Apprenticeship 2020 is a three-year training, which will help the aspirants to explore more job opportunities across the Indian banking system. The SBI Apprentice selection process has two stages, the first being a Computer Based Test and the final stage is to test the candidate’s proficiency in the local language of the state to which he/ she is applying.

SBI Apprentice Selection Process 2022 is thus based on two stages i.e. Online Written Test and Local Language Test. Let us look at the sbi apprentice selection process.

Online Written Test Selection Procedure

Online Written Test: The online written test will be objective type and bilingual i.e. English and Hindi except for the General English section. Those candidates who will qualify for the online written test will be called for the local language test.

SBI Apprentice Exam Pattern 2022

The SBI Apprentice selection has only a single-stage written exam, and the exam pattern is:

• Each test will have separate timing as mentioned above.
• The questions will be bilingual i.e., English and Hindi, except for the General English section.
• There shall be a negative mark of .25 for every wrong answer. Candidates are required to score minimum percentage marks for the further selection process. For SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates, 5% relaxation available thereon. Minimum qualifying marks on aggregate will be as decided by the Bank.
• There are no minimum qualifying marks for individual sections. Merit list will be published State-wise and category wise.
• If more than one candidate scores the same marks as cut-off marks in the merit list (common marks at cut off
  point) such candidates will be ranked in the merit list according to their age in descending order in respective States and categories.
• The online examination will be held in 2022.

Local Language Test Selection Procedure

Local Language Test: The local language test will be based on the language specified to the particular state. The candidate must apply from that state for which the candidate is proficient in any of the local languages of that particular state. Proficient in the manner of speaking, reading, writing and understanding.

SBI Apprentice 2022: Required Local Language Exam Pattern

Successful candidates from the written test have to complete the local language proficiency test, to grab an apprenticeship in the State Bank of India. The candidates applying for vacancies of a particular state should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in the specified local language of that State as mentioned in the notification. Candidates who produce SSLC or 12th standard mark sheet evidencing having studied the opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test.

The required language efficiency for each Indian State is as follows:

SBI also conducts the basic medical examination and document verification process before finalizing the rank list. SBI will maintain a State-category wise waitlist for one year from the date of result of the engagement of apprentices or the next engagement exercise, whichever is earlier. Candidates will be released only once from this waitlist against non-joining subject to the availability of qualified candidates.

Medical Examination Selection Procedure

After clearing the above two stages candidates will be called for the medical examination round. The Engagement of selected apprentices is subject to his/her being declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Bank.

a) Verification of eligibility for the post and information furnished in the online application.

b) Qualifying in the test of specified opted local language, where applicable, as detailed above.

Final Selection Process of SBI Apprentice

SBI Apprentice 2022 Final Selection will be done on the basis of both stages i.e. Online Written Test and Local Language Test. The final merit will be released based on the marks of both phases. There is no interview round for SBI Apprentice Final Selection 2022.

• Category certificate.
• Scanned image of passport size photograph.
• Scanned image of the signature.
• Photo ID proof of the candidate.
• 10th Marksheet.
