Super TET vs CTET

Super TET is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Government in order to recruit various teachers in primary and elementary schools. However, the CTET or the Central Teacher Eligibility Test is a Central Government eligibility test that is conducted by the CBSE organisation twice a year on the behalf of the Central Government. The candidates who give the CTET will be able to get jobs in the Central Government schools such as Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. There is a vast difference between both of the two examinations and the main difference is the recruitment place after you have cracked the examination.

Conducting Body Super TET vs CTET

The Central Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted by the CBSE organisation on the behalf of the Central Government. However, the Super Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Government in order to recruit as many teachers as possible in the Government schools only present in the Uttar Pradesh state. The candidates cannot get a job in the Kendriya Vidyalaya after passing the super TET examination. They will be only liable to get jobs in regional schools and colleges present in the Uttar Pradesh state. Examination Frequency 

The Central Government releases the notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test twice a year and the candidates can participate in this test accordingly. However, the super TET notification is only released when there are vacancies available in the State Government schools. 

Age Limit 

The age limit for the super TET examination and the CTET examination is different. The candidates who are applying for the Central Teacher Eligibility exam will not have to worry about the upper age limit. However, the super TET examination comes with an age limit that the candidates have to follow. The TET examination of different states has different age criteria that the candidates need to follow.

The candidates who have decided to give the Central Teacher Eligibility Test will have the option to appear in the paper by using any language that they are comfortable with however if you are giving the super TET examination then you will have to be fluent in the Hindi language as it is the language which is widely used in the Uttar Pradesh state. Certificate Validation TET vs CTET

A certificate is provided to the candidates after they have successfully passed the entrance examination of the teacher eligibility test. There is a difference between super TET and CTET on the basis of certificate validation which is provided to the candidates after they have passed the examination. The eligibility for the certificate provided for the CTET examination is 7 years, however, TET examination certificates are only valid for 5 years. 

Difference Between Super TET and CTET Application Fee

There is also a vast difference between super TET and CTET examinations based upon the application procedure. CTET primary or elementary fees is Rs 1,000 and for candidates planning to give both the papers is Rs 1,200. The application fee for TET exams varies from state to state. The application fee for the general candidate is Rs 400-500 and for reserved category candidates is Rs 200-250.

Senior Secondary and 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

OR Graduation (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)

OR D.El.Ed/BTC from UP Government Institution OR 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR 4 Year BA/B.Sc. Ed or BA.Ed/B.Sc. Ed OR Graduation with at least 50 % marks and 1-year B.Ed (Special Education) And Paper 2 (Class 6-8) TET Qualified

For Principal 

Senior Secondary and 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

OR Graduation (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)

OR D.El.Ed/BTC from UP Government Institution OR 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) OR 4 Year BA/B.Sc. Ed or BA.Ed/B.Sc. Ed OR Graduation with at least 50 % marks and 1-year B.Ed (Special Education) And Paper 2 (Class 6-8) TET Qualified and 5 Yrs teaching Experience from Junior High School and High Basic School recognised from Basic Education Department
