What is Super TET? Super Teacher Eligibility Test (Super TET) 2021 is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board. The candidates who wish to teach in the primary level and secondary level of private and government schools can apply for the Super TET exam. Expectation vs Reality for Super TET Exam 2021
1. Preparing for the Exam
Expectation: The candidates who prepare for the Super TET expect to prepare for the exam with an exact schedule according to the exam dates. Creating a perfect schedule to prepare for the exam by calculating an exact number of days often is the initial stage of preparing for the exam.
Reality: The dates mentioned by the exam board often vary and comes prior or later as per the covid situations. Sometimes, the exam mentioned by the exam board comes prior and the candidates won’t get enough time to prepare for the exam. 4. Time Management

Reality: Sometimes, the time management system doe not work in the exam hall. This can be because some questions may be too difficult to be answered in the scheduled time. Expectation: Candidates think, it is perfectly fine to appear for the Super TET exam without any mock tests or practice sessions
Reality: The candidates who had practice sessions before the exam as compared to the candidates who didn’t have practice sessions, find it easy and familiar to appear in the exam. The candidates who didn’t have any practice questions or sample questions or mock tests, find the question pattern unfamiliar and new. This created a difficulty to answer the questions quickly. It is always recommended that the candidates who are appearing for any competitive exams should check the sample questions and mock tests to get familiarized with the exam pattern for quick responses in the exam hall.
6. Multiple-Choice Questions
Expectation: Candidates who are appearing for the competitive exams with multiple-choice questions often have a mindset that the exam will be comparatively easy than other exam types. Answering or selecting any possible answer will be comparatively an easy challenge as compared to other exams
Reality: Multiple choice questions are often more confusing and challenging. The answers seem to be confusing and similar. The candidates find it hard for answering multiple-choice questions and tend to waste more time thinking about the other choices. Thus, sometimes multiple-choice questions tend to be hard compared to other exam types

7. Preparing with Previous Year Questions
Expectation: The candidates who prepare for the Super TET often fix their eyes on the previous year questions and take a lot of time to solve and practice the previous year questions, expecting the repetition of the previous year questions
Reality: The previous year question papers help the candidates to get used to the exam pattern and questions. Apart from that, the candidates won’t face the same questions again, as the exam board will be crucial in selecting the questions for the exam, each year.
8. Expected Questions
Expectation: The Super TET candidates often have a general idea regarding the questions and expectations from the syllabus. The candidates often create a general graph of types of questions to be dealt with in the exam
Reality: The questions in the exam might be too variant from what you expected. The candidates often think they can answer the questions after preparing well for the exam. But there will be many indirect and subtle questions that may deviate from their expected level of questions.
9. Sticking to the Syllabus
Expectation: The candidates who are preparing for any competitive exam stick entirely to the Super TET 2021 syllabus and expects questions from the syllabus alone
Reality: The exam board has the right to include the general questions for the exam which might span out from the syllabus structure. The candidates are obliged to be updated with the general knowledge and current affairs if they are appearing for the Super TET exam.
10. Level of Exam
Expectation: How difficult is Super TET? The candidates who are appearing for the Super TET often create an idea regarding the exam level by comparing it to the previous level of the exam. They also refer to the previous cut off and expected level for this year.
Reality: Sometimes, the expected level of exam will not accurate for the current exam. The previous year level of the exam cannot be compared to this year’s exam. Sometimes, it has a huge difference of level too.
11. Answering all Questions
Expectation: The candidates believe to answer all the questions perfectly without losing out on any questions even if they don’t know the answer it.
Reality: You might face negative marks for answering the wrong answer. The candidates will find it hard to answer all the questions due to time management issues and sometimes due to the negative marks and fear of losing the gained correct answers
12. Expected Cut-off
Expectation: The cut off expectation often comes even before the exam. Sometimes just after the exam too.
Reality: The expected cut off may vary and change at times. The expected cut off may not be as expected too.
13. Expected Result
Expectation: The Expected result is another factor that candidates who appear for any competitive exam face. The candidates often calculate their marks after the exam
Reality: The expected marks may vary when the final result comes. You might have mistakenly answered. The candidates cannot assure the marks as they expect for the final result. So always be prepared to have gone away from the expected marks
14. Failing in the Exam
Expectation: Failing for the exam is the final phase and it’s all over there! You cannot attempt it again as you have failed once. The next time you too you will fail as you already failed after learning so hard
Reality: Failing for an exam is not a big deal! Failing a thousand times doesn’t mean you can’t try again! Keep trying and you shall gain it for sure if you are determined for it. Prepare well and anybody can gain it
