Bank of Baroda PO Vacancy 2021
The Bank of Bank recruits hundreds towards their services either in Clerical cadres or in Officer positions through annual recruitment processes. For selecting the eligible candidates towards the officer cadre, the BOB chooses two ways, one through the IBPS common test and the other way is through recruiting directly from their PG Certificate course. While the first selection has lots of competition, the latter have comparatively few applicants.
The IBPS PO recruitment has two stages of online test, followed by the interview for the screening, and candidates have the option to choose any of the participating banks to join. If the candidates choose the second option or the PG course to join the bank, there is only one screening test, and based on the candidate’s performance in this they will be selected for the programme. Comparing to the IBPS open recruitment, the number of vacancies will be higher for this path.
The Bank of Baroda PO 2021 official notification is yet to be published by the organization, so the exact number of vacancies is not available. If we consider the last recruitment cycles pattern, we can expect anywhere between 700 to 1000 for the 2021 BOB PO vacancies. BOB PO Selection
To join the Bank of Baroda’s PO position through the Post Graduate programme, candidates must clear the countrywide entrance test. Selected applicants will go through 9 months of the on-campus residential program at the Baroda Manipal School of Banking leading to the award of a Post Graduate Certificate in Banking and Finance by Manipal University followed by 3-month work-integrated learning (WIL) in the form of On the Job Training at any branch of BOB leading to the Post-Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance by Manipal university. On successful completion, the applicant would be offered an appointment in the Bank of Baroda as Probationary Officer in JMG/S-I and can be posted anywhere in India as per the Banks discretion.
