Kerala PSC Assistant Surgeon Eligibility
Educational Qualification
There is a certain eligibility to write the exam. You need to be qualified for it. That is, You need to have a Degree in Modern Medicine (MBBS) or equivalent qualification and a valid registration with Travancore Cochin Medical Council.
Note: 1. For persons who were in defence service, the first year of their service will be treated as House Surgency.
2. Personnel working in various departments of Government and acquired MBBS qualification while in service will be given exemption from upper age limit to the extent necessary for Direct Recruitment.
Age Limit
There is also an age limit that is 18-47. Only candidates born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included) are only eligible to apply. The maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years.
