What are the tie-breaking rules followed in Result?

If two or more candidates secure the same score in Kerala PSC Assistant Surgeon (in Prelims as well as in Mains Exam), Tie cases will be resolved by applying one after another, as applicable till the Tie is resolved.

• Among the candidates having equal marks in total (Main examination + interview taken together), the candidate with higher marks in the Main Examination will be ranked higher.
• In case of having equal marks in the Main Examination, the candidate with a higher qualification or in case of similar qualification, the candidate with higher scores in graduation will be ranked higher.
• In case of further tie-up, the candidate who is senior in age will be ranked higher.

Kerala PSC Assistant Surgeon Cut Off Marks 

The Assistant Surgeon 2022 Cut Off Marks will state the minimum qualifying marks which should be scored by the candidates. It will be given for the categories of SC, ST, BC, OC. Candidates who cross the given Cut Off Marks will be moved for the further rounds. Officials will go through the factors like Previous years cut off marks, Number of vacancies available, the Hardness level of the paper. Candidate scores the equal marks to the then the candidate will be placed in the merit list.
