The Panchayat and Rural Development (PNRD), Assam has recently issued a recruitment notification in its official web portal. As per the latest notification, the Panchayat and Rural Development board is recruiting candidates to 377 vacant posts. The vacancies, however, include the Peon and PRI posts. Therefore, all the eligible and aspiring candidates shall now apply for the posts through the official web portal. According to the official advertisement released by PNRD (No. PDDE(II)104/2020/57), applications are invited from suitable and eligible candidates to the post of Peon and PRI under Panchayat and Rural Development, Assam. Further, these posts fall under Grade 4 category. The aspiring candidates shall start to apply for the post from 27^th of January 2021 onwards through the official web portal, www.rural.assam.gov.in . However, all the applications must be made before 10^th of February 2021 itself. No late applications will be accepted.

Selection Procedure for PNRD Recruitment 2021

The selection to the post of Peon and PRI Grade 4 category will be done as per the Assam Public Service Commission rules. According to this, Grade 4 recruitment will be done by direct appointment of suitable candidate itself.

Eligibility Criteria for PNRD Recruitment 2021

Nationality

Any candidate applying for the post must fulfill the following requirements:

• He/ She must be an Indian citizen- preferably a resident of Assam.
• He/ She must have registered his or her name in any employment exchange of Assam.

Age

Any candidate applying for the post must fulfill the following requirements:

He/ She must not be more than 40 years or less than 18 years as of January 01^st 2021. However, upper age limit relaxation will be provided to the deserving candidates as per the Government norms.

Educational Qualification

Any candidate applying for the post must be an HSLC or any equivalent pass certificate.

How to Apply?

All the aspiring candidates shall apply for the posts starting from 27^th of January 2021 to 10^th of February 2021 by online means through the official web portal. However, each candidate must make sure to follow the guidelines and send the application only in the prescribed format itself.

1. Firstly, go to the official web portal of Panchayat and Rural Development (PNRD), Assam.
2. Now, select the notification that is titled ‘Online Application for Grade 4 Recruitment 2021’.
3. Then, click on the ‘Apply Online’ option available.
4. Next, on the new screen that opens, find the registration link available.
5. Now, fill the form carefully.
6. Lastly, click on submit button and complete the application process.

However, when filling the application form, the candidate must ensure to upload the scanned copies of the following:

• Passport size photograph
• Signature
• Admit card of HSLC Examination or equivalent / birth certificate issued by concerned authority as the proof of age.
• Certificate of caste, for those who claim reservations.
• Valid Employment Exchange Registration card or certificate.
• Disability certificate from competent authority, if applying under such category.
• EWS certificate from competent authority.

What Next?

If a candidate is found eligible for the post, then the next step is the document verification by the selection committee. Therefore, the candidates who are called for document verification must make sure to bring the following documents along with him or her during the process:

• Certificate of Proof of Age – Admit card of HSLC Examination or equivalent / birth certificate
• Certificate and Mark sheet of minimum educational qualification required for Grade 4 post.
• Certificate of caste for SC, ST, OBC candidates.
• Valid Employment Exchange Registration card or certificate.
• Disability certificate from competent authority, if applying under such category.
• EWS certificate from competent authority.
• Two copies of recent passport size photographs of the candidate.
