UPPSC BEO Vacancy 2022: Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria set by UPPSC for the post of Block Education Officer is as mentioned below. Following factors has to be satisfied by the candidates to be eligible to apply for the post-
Age Limit:
All applicants for the UPPSC Block Educational Officer (BEO) positions must be at least the age requirements listed below.
- Minimum Age Limit: 21 Years
- Maximum Age Limit: 40 Years
- Upper Age Relaxation for SC, ST & BC applicable.
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from a University established by law in India/Equivalent qualification recognized by the Government
- In case of those candidates whose Bachelor’s Degree is not in Education, the L.T. diploma of the Government Training College or the Government Basic Training College awarded by the Registrar, Departmental Examinations, Uttar Pradesh is required.
- Preference will be given to those candidates who-
(a) has served for a minimum period of two years in Territorial Army or
(b) has obtained “B” certificate of N.C.C.

UPPSC BEO Vacancy 2022: Selection Process
The UPPSC BEO Examination is held by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) in order to hire BEOs (Block Education Officers) in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The following 3 stages make up the UPPSC Block Education Officer Recruitment Selection Process:
- Stage-I: Preliminary Exam
- Stage-II: Mains Exam
- Stage-III: Medical Exam
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Board, often known as UPPSC, held an examination as part of the hiring process for the position of Block Education Officer. 309 vacant BEO positions must be filled as a result of the notification. With a grade pay of Rs. 4,800, the compensation range for this post is between Rs. Rs. 9,300 – 34,800/- each month. Candidates must fill out the registration form if they want to apply for this post. The UPPSC BEO test date will be announced soon.
In August 2022, the UPPSC BEO Prelims Exam will be held. There were 120 objective-type questions in all, each worth 300 points. The marks for each question are listed on the exam paper. Each question is worth 2.5 points. There will be a 0.825 point deduction for each wrong response.
