   • City and Guilds Examination in Electrical Engineering (Intermediate Grade) from the London Institute. (Note: Certificates awarded after March 31, 1985, are not accepted).

   • M.G.T.E. or K.G.T.E. (Higher) Certificate in Electrical Light and Power.

   • Grade III Certificate as Electrician or Lineman from the War Technical Training Centre.

Note:

• Candidates with equivalent qualifications in Electrical Engineering, such as the National Trade Certificate in Electrician issued by the Government, are also eligible.
• Any higher qualifications that are deemed equivalent to the prescribed qualifications can also be accepted, subject to Government orders.
