Checking eligibility is one of the main things to be noticed before applying to the post. If you are fulfilling the eligibility criteria, then only you are able to apply for the post. During the document verification procedure, if the candidate did not satisfy the eligibility; the application will be rejected. The educational qualifications and age limit are the basic requirements to apply for the post.

Educational Qualifications

The candidates must have a Degree in any stream (like Arts, Science, and Commerce) from a recognized University or its equivalent.

Note: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a) (ii) is applicable.

NB: The reservation policy approved by the Kerala State and KPSC is 3% of the vacancies reported to the Commission for the above post shall be reserved for appointment of Differently abled persons, limited to the categories of Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy, Hearing Impairment and Low Vision as per G.O (P) No. 1/13/SJD dtd 3.1.13.

Age limit

The candidate’s age must be in between 18-36 years. Only candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Communities (For other conditions regarding the age relaxation please see part 2 of the General Conditions).

Kerala PSC is conducting a written examination for selecting applicants for the job position of Secretariat Assistant 2022 in Government Secretariat/Kerala Public Service Commission/ Advocate General’s Office (Ernakulam)/ Local Fund Audit Department Office of the vigilance Tribunal /Special Judge and Enquiry Commissioner office. The candidates who fulfill the eligibility and are required to appear for a written OMR exam. The basic selection procedure in Kerala Public Service Commission has the following steps: Written Examination, Personal Interview, and Document Verification. • The written examination(may include Prelims+Mains) is a filtering process, in which the candidates with good performance will be selected for the second step, called Personal Interview. Exam pattern

• The duration of the exam will be 1 hour and 15 minutes.
• The total number of questions asked during the exam is 100.
• The exam pattern is objective type.
• Each right answer carries one mark and for each wrong answer, 0.33 marks will be deducted.
• Questions will be asked from the main sections like mental ability, logical reasoning, English, Information Technology, General Knowledge and Current Affairs, etc and the concerned subject.
• The medium of examination will only be English.
