Staff Selection Commission(SSC) has released the notification for the recruitment of Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in CISF, earlier in 2020. SSC CPO is one of the most prestigious Civil Services Exam in the country. the SSC exam conducted for the post of SSC CAPF is being carried out in three phases, Paper-I, Paper-II, Physical Edurance Test and lastly standard Medical Examination.The Staff Selection Commission will conduct a competitive Computer Based Examination for Recruitment of Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in CISF. In this blog, we will provide you the SSC CAPF Syllabus and Exam Pattern for the candidates which will help in understanding the first step towards knowing the important details related to the exam.
SSC CAPF Exam Pattern 2021
The Staff Selection conducts a recruitment drive to select eligible and interested candidates for the post of SI in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). The selection process is carried out in different stages including a preliminary exam, physical standard test, mains exam and medication. For the recruitment notification issued last year, the selection process is undergoing now. The Tier 02 exam is scheduled to be held On 12th of July 2021. Therefore, all of the candidates who have qualified the Tier 01 exam as well as the physical standars test, shall prepare well to ace the examination. Here, we have the SSC CAPF Exam pattern along with the SSC CAPF Syllabus to make your preparation easier.
The examination takes place in different stages. They are:
1. Paper-I
2. Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET)
3. Paper-II
4. Medical Examination (DME).
All these stages of the examination are mandatory. Details of these Paper I & Paper II are as follows:

Paper-III PET/PST Exam
The candidates who qualify the Paper -1, progress to the next stage of the exam, i.e. the Physical Endurance Test (Physical Endurance Test)/PST or the Medical test. Thereafter, they should also write the Paper-2 of the written exam.
Note – The evaluation of the Paper-2 of the written exam is done only for those candidates who qualify the PET/PST and the Medical test.
PAPER-IV Medical Exam
Candidates who qualify the PET exam are required to appear in the CAPF Medical officer for Medical examination.
Note:
- Questions in both papers will be of Objective Multiple Choice. Questions will be set in Hindi and English in Parts-I, II and III of Paper-I.
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I & Paper-II.
- Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.

SSC CAPF Eligibility Criteria 2021
A candidate should go through the Eligibility Criteria before deciding on appearing for the examination. They should understand if the eligibility norms are being fulfilled.Some of the eligibility criteria’s are age, upper age limit and educational qualification. Lets look at the eligibility criteria for SSC CPO exam for the post of CAPF.
- Education Qualification: Graduation in any Discipline or its equivalent from any UGC recognized university. For SI in Delhi Police, male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV.
- Age Limit: The candidate’s age shall be between 20 years to 25 years as of January 01, 2021. Candidates shall be born between January 02, 1996, and January 01, 2001. Age relaxations according to the government norms are applicable.
