Educational Qualification
Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO)
AAO (Generalists): A Bachelor’s degree from any Government recognised University
AAO (Chartered Accountant): The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised Indian University/Institution and the candidate should have passed Final Examination of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and completion of Articles as presented by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. The candidate should be Associate member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Candidates should provide their membership number and the same will be verified with Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
LIC AAO 2020 Exam Pattern and Syllabus
AAO (IT): Graduation degree in Engineering in Computer Science, IT or Electronics, or an MCA, or M.Sc. (Computer Science) from a recognised Indian University/Institution
AAO (Actuarial): Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University/Institution and Candidates should have compulsorily passed paper CT1 and CT5 plus 4 or more other papers of the examination conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK (Total 6 or more papers) as on the date of eligibility. Candidates should provide their membership number and the same will be verified with Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.
AAO (Rajbhasha): Post Graduate Master’s Degree in Hindi/Hindi translation with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level.
OR
Post Graduate Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s degree level.
Apprentice Development Officer (ADO)
Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree of a University in India approved for the fellowship of Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai.

Job Profile
Assistant Administrative Officer(AAO)
AAO’s are assigned to the administrative works of the company. They have to communicate with the clients n a regular basis about the new policies and benefit of the company provided. They are also expected to formulate new policies and strengthen the existing ones for an errorless transaction. They also have to resolve the claim related issues.
Apprentice Development Officer(ADO)
ADO’s are responsible for the marketing and sales of the company. They have a lot of field job in comparison with AAO’s. They are assigned to recruit LIC policy agents for selling policies. They are also responsible to give training and monitor the performance of each LIC agents under his supervision. They should also assign a sales target for LIC Agents.
