What are the Tie-breaking Rules Followed in Canara Bank Probationary Officer Result 2022?
If two or more candidates secure the same score in Canara Bank Probationary Officer (in Prelims as well as in Mains) Exam, the tie cases will be resolved by applying one after another, as suitable till the tie is resolved.
- Among the candidates having equal marks in total (Mains examination + interview), the candidate with higher marks in the Mains Examination will be ranked higher.
- In case of having equal marks in the Main Examination, the candidate with higher qualification will be considered. Else, in the case of similar qualification, the candidate having higher scores in graduation will be given higher consideration.
- If there is still a further tie-up, the candidate who is senior in age will be given preference.

Canara Bank has invited applications from graduates across India for the Probationary Officer in Junior Management Grade Scale-I. For these election processes, the bank will rely on two sets of the selection process, one is through the IBPS PO 2022 scorecards. The second and more efficient way to kickstart your banking career with Canara bank is by joining the year-long Post-Graduate Banking Diploma programme sponsored by the bank.
Apart from the common written examination conducted by the IBPS for the selection process, one can choose to appear for the entrance tests conducted by the bank and joins their PG Diploma programme. The bank will then hires the successful candidates from this program for their service. Bank has tie-up with two institutions to conduct the one-year training course and they are:

Canara Bank PO Exam Pattern 2022
The Canara Bank PO recruitment will be done through Two Phases.
- The first phase will be an online objective test and the second stage will be a group discussion and interview.
- The online objective test will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS), Mumbai. The test comprises four subjects, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language and General Awareness. The question paper will have a total of 200 questions. The test carries a total of 200 marks. There will be negative marks for wrong answers.
- The candidates who qualify equally to or above the section-wise and overall cut-off score in the first stage will only be eligible to appear for the second phase which will be the Group Discussion and Personal Interview round.
