Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has started accepting the IBPS SO Online Application Form 2024 for the Specialist Officer (SO) vacancies Specialist Officer posts (Scale-1) released for IT Officer, Agriculture Officer, Marketing Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, Law Officer (Scale I), and Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I). Through IBPS SO Notification 2024, a three-phase selection process (Prelims, Mains, Interview) will be conducted.
The IBPS SO Notification 2024 has been released on 1st August 2024 at www.ibps.in for 896 Specialist Officer posts. Eligible candidates can apply online for the Specialist Officer posts (Scale-1) from 01st to 21st August 2024 from the official website www.ibps.in (once activated). Steps to Apply Online for IBPS SO 2024
Read to know about the IBPS SO exam apply online 2024:
Step 1: IBPS SO Registration
- Visit the official website of IBPS SO i.e. ibps.in to apply for the exam.
- Select the option of ‘Click here for New Registration’.
- The registration form for creating the User Profile will appear.
- Fill in general details like name, date of birth and contact details- valid email ID and mobile number.
- Click on ‘Register’.
- A Provisional Registration Number and Password will appear on the screen.
- Applicants will also receive an email and SMS on their registered email ID and a mobile number indicating the same.
Step 2: Fill IBPS SO Application Form
- Log in using these credentials to proceed with the IBPS SO application process.
- Candidates will have to provide personal and contact details as well as details about their academic qualification, work experience, preference exam centre, etc.
- Then, they will have to upload scanned images of their recent photograph, signature, thumb impression and handwritten declaration as per the specifications are given on the screen.
- After going through all the details carefully, click on ‘Final Submit’ to pay the application fees.
Step 3: Payment of Application Fees
- This is the last step for completing the application process. Aspirants have to remit the requisite application fees by different online modes.
- Candidates can pay the fees using a Credit/ Debit card, Net banking, Cash Card & Wallet and IMPS.
- They must enter the essential payment details on the bank page that appears and save the e-receipt of the online transaction as proof of payment.
“I, …………(Name of the candidate)………….., hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
On successful registration of the application, an email/ SMS intimation with the Registration Number and Password generated will be sent to the candidate’s email ID/ Mobile Number given in the online application form as a system-generated acknowledgement for the application.

IBPS SO Application Fees 2024-2025
To complete the IBPS Specialist Officer application, candidates should pay the required application fee through any of the given online modes. The fee payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/ Master Card/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards, and Mobile Wallets.
