Eligibility for the IBPS SO Exam 2025 in terms of educational qualification and age limit is available inside the table below.

Points to keep in mind:
- The exam will be conducted in three phases: Preliminary, Mains and Interview Process.
- IBPS has introduced separate sectional timing for each section in the prelims exam. The IBPS SO preliminary examination has a total duration of 120 minutes and 40 minutes for each section.
- A candidate must appear for the Prelims first and the selected students after the Preliminary Exam will be eligible to give the Mains Exam.
- The score of the Preliminary Exam will not be taken into consideration for the final allotment. The final selection will be based on the Mains Exam and Interview Process.
- The Mains Examination will contain questions only from the Professional Knowledge Subjects.

IBPS SO Preliminary Exam is the primary selection round of the IBPS SO 2025 Exam. Candidates who clear the preliminary exam are eligible to appear for the mains exam. The minimum score required to be secured in order to qualify for the examination will be communicated by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection through the official website.
The steps to check the cut-off of IBPS SO will be available on the official website of IBPS:
- Step 1:The candidate is required to visit the official website.
- Step 2: At the top of the page, they will be needed to click on the “IBPS SO cut off” link from a list of notifications.
- Step 3: Candidates will be required to enter their login credentials.
- Step 4: The mark sheet of the candidate will then be visible on the screen, with a sectional and overall cut-off.

The following are some of the benefits that may be accrued by an IBPS SO:
- Annual compensation packages range from INR 7.55 lakhs to INR 12.93 lakhs.
- A newspaper allowance.
- A conveyance allowance, dependent on the availability of an Officer’s vehicle, wherein the officer may receive a fixed amount of fuel and other vehicle maintenance funds.
- Leave Travel Concession (LTC).
- Constant Training and Development, which becomes necessary due to the intellectually demanding nature of the job, in order to stay up to date with the evolving standards of the industry’s nuanced technologies.
- Leave Policies inclusive of casual and privileged leaves, as well as maternity leaves of up to 6 months. Single parents who have elderly relatives are allowed up to 2 years of sabbatical leave as well.
