Validity Of Karnataka TET 2022
The validity of the Karnataka TET 2022 qualifying certificate will be seven years from the date of declaration of its results.
KARTET Qualifying Marks
- A person who scores 60% or more in Karnataka TET examination will be considered as “Karnataka TET Passed” or “Karnataka TET Qualified”. These will be the qualifying marks for all categories
- For General:60 % or passing marks- 90
- For OBC/SC/ST : 55% passing marks- 82
- Negative Marks: There will be no negative marking for Karnataka TET 2022
Eligibility Criteria for Karnataka TET Recruitment 2022
Check the eligibility criteria for the candidates intended to be a teacher for classes I to V and classes VI to VIII, as per KARTET 2022 Notification. Find the KARTET eligibility criteria list below:
- (Paper-I) : Required minimum qualification (for teaching class 1 to 5)
PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
PUC / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year or 4th year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
- (Paper-II) : Required minimum qualification (for teaching class 6 to 8)
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR

Note: Relaxation of up to 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum Educational Qualification meant for eligibility shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC / ST / C-I / Differently abled.
Make sure that you are eligible before applying. If any non-eligibility is found later, the department will disqualify your candidature, and the decision of the CAC will be final.

Karnataka TET Application Process
The Karnataka TET application process is conducted in online mode. Candidates must visit the official website, i.e. schooleducation.kar.in to fill the KARTET application form. Check below to understand the four simple steps to complete the Karnataka TET application process:
- Registration – Candidates will have to visit the official website and register themselves with their basic details to get a ‘Registration Number’/ ‘User ID’ & ‘Password’.
- Filling Application Form – Log in using the credentials and fill the application form with personal, educational, communication and other required details.
- Upload Scanned Documents – Upload the scanned copy of your Photograph & Signature as per the prescribed limits.
- Fee Payment – Check the fee details and pay the applicable fee. Download and take a printout of the filled application form for future references.
Note: The details filled in the application form must be correct. If any discrepancy is found in the printed application form or hall ticket, it cannot be changed. There will be no provision for correction in the details.

Karnataka TET Syllabus 2022
KARTET 2022 comprises 2 papers. Paper-I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V. Paper-II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII. The syllabus for both papers has been given below :

- Child development: Concept of development and its relationship with learning, Principles of the development of children, Influence of Heredity & Environment.
