While the window is open, your account shows whether the form is complete. Log in at rrbapply.gov.in and check that:
- The application for CEN 06/2026 or CEN 07/2026 shows as submitted, not saved as draft.
- The fee shows as paid. RRB counts an application only after payment is confirmed by email and SMS.
- Your photo, signature and RRB choice are correct. You can still fix most details in the correction window (9–18 November for Graduate).
After release: check your official status
- Go to rrbapply.gov.in or the unified RRB site, rrb.indianrailways.gov.in.

What Your RRB NTPC Application Status Means

“Provisionally” accepted does not mean final selection. Your eligibility is checked again at document verification.
How to Avoid a “Rejected” Status in 2026-27
The window is still open, so you can prevent most rejections now. These are the common traps under CEN 06/2026:
- More than one application. Applying twice, even to different RRBs, gets all your applications rejected and can lead to debarment.
- Applying while awaiting your degree result. Graduate applicants must hold the degree by 6 November 2026.
- Date of birth not matching your Class 10 certificate. This cannot be changed later.
- Live photo errors. The form takes a live photo, not an upload. Use a plain white background, no cap, mask or glasses, eyes open.
- Signature errors. Sign in running handwriting with black ink, not capital letters. Upload as JPG, 30–49 KB.
- Fee not paid by 8 November 2026. An unpaid application is rejected.
- Wrong post preference for your eyesight. Goods Train Manager needs A-2 vision without glasses. Lasik candidates are not eligible for it, and failing the medical does not move you to another post.
Fix mistakes in the correction window
Graduate applicants can correct details from 9 to 18 November 2026 at ₹250 per correction. Your chosen RRB and the Create Account details (mobile, email) cannot be changed.

What Happens After the Application Status?
An accepted status clears you for the exam stages. For CEN 06/2026, selection runs in this order:
- Application status – accepted candidates move ahead.
- City intimation slip and admit card – about 10 days and 4 days before your exam date.
- CBT 1 – 100 questions in 90 minutes, common for all four Graduate posts.
- CBT 2 – 120 questions in 90 minutes, for about 15 times the vacancies in each RRB.
- Document verification and medical exam – candidates equal to vacancies (1:1) are called.
