Staff Selection Commission of India is all set to release the official results of the SSC GD exam to select eligible and suitable candidates for the post of ground Duty Constables for the year 2021. Candidates who had appearing for the SSC GD Constable 2021 Exam from 16th November to 15th December 2021 can check the expected cut-off marks here. The results are expected by the end of January. The cut off marks are usually released along with the results. A large number of candidates had appeared for the exam this year and hence the cut off marks are also expected to be more than the previous years. As per the option exercised by the candidates in the Online Application Form, candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC category, on migration from one State/ UT to another State/ UT have been considered in their respective reserved category if they have chosen to take benefit of reservation from the State/ UT of origin. Other-wise they have been considered as UR candidates from the State/ UT of their domicile as per the provisions of the Notice of Examination. The candidates shortlisted against the All India vacancies have also been considered against the vacancies of General/ Border/ Naxal District Areas depending on the domicile State/ District information provided by the candidates in the online Application Form and verification of the same during Document Verification. Similar procedure have also been adopted for the candidates shortlisted against the vacancies of General/ Border District/Naxal affected District Areas.
NCC Cadets gets bonus marks in addition to their normalized marks. The bonus mark allocation will be as follows:
- NCC A Certificate holders: 2% of the maximum marks
- NCC B Certificate holders: 3% of the maximum marks
- NCC C Certificate holders: 5% of the maximum marks
The final selection of will be based on the candidate’s performance in all the three phases of the SSC GD Constable Exam, i.e., Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST), and Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
